About BAJ
BAJ was made possible by a collaboration among three organizations: Baltic American Chamber of Commerce, Orion Worldwide Innovations and the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute at Cornell Tech. The Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute was established jointly by Cornell University and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Thus, our name corresponds to the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), Armenia (an Orion Focus) and Jacobs (Israel), which in turn are all high unicorn per capita countries. That’s an important ratio as small teams can have outsized impact for the world.
We believe that startups represent an important force for good that help bring innovation, new resources and prosperity to societies. In particular, we seek to enable the Skype Effect in more countries via our accelerator program and we welcome applicants from all geographies. To date, we’re been honored that founders from 19 countries, from nearly every continent, have pitched in with us.
Neither BAJ Accelerator nor any related funds are sponsored by, affiliated with, or otherwise endorsed by any university
